- LimeDolomite Structured is a continuous mineral coating made from air lime and dolomitic aggregate. It provides texture, character, and a handcrafted finish ideal for contemporary or restoration projects. Proper application is key to achieving a homogeneous, durable, and aesthetically coherent result. This manual details the essential recommendations for its correct installation. SURFACE PREPARATION: Preliminary inspection: The substrate must be dry, clean, stable, and free of dust, grease, salts, mold, or other residues (poorly adhered plastic paint, poorly bonded cement, old plaster, etc.). Remove all poorly bonded or damaged elements. Necessary repairs: Correct irregularities with suitable mortars or fillers. Treat cracks, voids, and spalling beforehand. Respect drying times before applying the product. Primer (if applicable) On mixed or unevenly absorbed substrates (patches), it is recommended to apply a mineral primer LimePrimer to unify absorption and improve adhesion. LIMEDOLOMITE APPLICATION: Product preparation Open the container and stir with a whisk at low speed to ensure homogeneity without incorporating air. If necessary, add small amounts of water until the desired consistency is reached. First coat Apply with a roller or brush over the entire surface. Ensure an even distribution of the aggregate. The brush can be used to customize the texture (stroke direction, more handcrafted effect). Intermediate drying Allow to dry for a minimum of 24 hours (+23 °C, 65% RH) before the second coat. Second coat Apply again with a brush or roller, following the same criteria. This coat will define the final finish of the coating. WET AREAS (BATHROOMS, KITCHENS): It is not recommended to apply it in showers or on surfaces in direct and constant contact with water. In kitchens, avoid areas exposed to steam, grease, or constant contact with liquids (such as countertop fronts). ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS: Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C or above +30°C. Avoid outdoor application if rain is expected within the next 48 hours. Ensure good ventilation during drying. Store the product in a cool, dry place, always with the container tightly closed
