Art meets design. Parade is born from tireless and passionate research into the languages of art. Both a project and a technique.
Incised, parallel cuts, enhanced by colour, reveal a new vision of the material while preserving its ancient essence.
The Iso collection offers layouts of Pietra Pece cut only by sawing and assembled to minimise the rigidity of modular repetition.
The Quarzi collection is inspired by the world’s most common minerals. A sort of alchemical material, its hexagonal prism-like shape recalls ice, snow, and cold, leading the ancient Greeks to call it “eternal ice.” Yet, it is anything but cold when interpreted through Pietra Pece... a true “self-celebration of nature.”
Triangles and diamonds combine to create multiple compositions. Pietra Pece, in its various types, forms a hexagonal pattern. Thanks to engravings and colour shades ranging from gold to green and from red to dark brown, these patterns become increasingly exclusive, turning into precious carpets. Pietra Pece sheds traditional conventions to embrace new aesthetic and formal possibilities.
The play of unusual cuts and joints enhances the qualities of Pietra Pece, giving it added value, a perfect fusion of ancient and modern, of classical and contemporary tastes.
Different shapes, such as triangles and trapezoids, emphasise its natural colour variations, ranging from light grey to dark brown.
