It offers a charcoal black colour with subtle grey movement throughout to be found in no other black granite.
It’s unique and highly sought after.
Jet Mists® appearance & quality is suitable for interiors or exteriors with varying style requirements for commercial and residential projects.
Its fine grain is well suited for any finish from the most intense colour offered with a polish finish to a subtle honed or the rough thermal finish for paving surfaces.
Water Jet, Antique, Sandblast, Six-Cut and even hand carvings can be used on Jet Mist® offering a fully array of finish choices.
Jet Mist® has a compressive strength and weight approximately 25% greater than the average granite does, and its performance reflects that.
Its density makes it highly impervious to water absorption and staining while it’s strength makes it resistant to chipping or breaking.
Jet Mist® does not have any quartz, which is the differentiating factor between granite and gabbro.
The absence of quartz makes it easier to cut, hand carve, and finish.
