Surface preparation: Make sure the surface where you are going to install the baseboard is clean, dry and flat. Preparing the baseboard: Measure the length of baseboard you will need. Using a tile saw, cut the baseboard to the desired length. If you need to make angled cuts, use a tile cutter for precise cuts. Installing the baseboard: Apply a layer of tile adhesive to the surface where you will install the baseboard. Use a notched trowel to spread the adhesive evenly. Then, place the baseboard onto the adhesive and press firmly to secure it in place. If you need to adjust the position of the baseboard, do so immediately before the adhesive dries. Finishing: Once the baseboard is in place, use a damp sponge to clean up any excess mortar adhesive that may have overflowed.
