Recommended Adhesive: Recommended dispersion adhesives for glued joinery includes PVAc glues, contact adhesives, and reactive adhesives/epoxies. EVA-, polyamide-, or polyurethane-based hot melt adhesives can be used for edgebanding. Adhesives can can also be used to support mechanical connections. Sikaflex 252, Teroson-Terostat 92, Dinitrol 600, Dinitrol 605, Dinitrol F500, Dinitrol 410 UV Plus, and others have been tested.
Suitable Substrates: Can be screwed into a wooden substructure or riveted onto an aluminium substructure. Non-ventilating systems can be mechanically affixed directly to drywall, concrete, or brick. The application of a vapor-tight, self-adhesive aluminum vapor barrier to the subsurface is recommended, especially for damp walls. Refer to the attached Tech Guide for additional information regarding non-wall utilization.
