- For general cleaning use household cleaners or water and soap, and wipe damp surfaces with an absorbent cloth. For severe soiling apply hot water with a diluted detergent- or soap-based cleaning agent using a sponge or soft nylon brush, leave to soak, rinse with clean water and dry. Remove solvent-based varnishes and adhesives with organic solvents such as acetone, white spirit, turpentine or petroleum. Do not use concentrated acids, caustics, abrasives or polishing agents. Suitable for frequent disinfection with 60-70% alcohol solutions, peroxide compounds (hydrogen peroxide and organic peracids) or quaternary ammonium compounds
