StratusQuartz® is designed to withstand moderate heat, but the product is not heat proof, to prevent discoloration or other damages. · Resistant to temperatures up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. · It is necessary to use insulating pads when placing hot objects, including crock pots on the surface.
Highly resistant to scratching, with a score of seven on the Mohs Hardness Scale. · Use a clean cloth or sponge with mild soap and warm water for routine daily cleaning. · For stubborn spots, use a soft cloth, sponge or a non-scratch scrub pad, and a mild, neutral pH, nonabrasive cleanser, along with plenty of water, to clean the surface.
