The True Teak Collection brings to your project the unparalleled appearance of “Tectona grandis,” better known as authentic, South Asia teak. Because teak is one of the most renown and sought-after woods in the world, True Teak flooring uses only teak that is sustainably grown and harvested exclusively in Thailand. True Teak hardwood floors are harvested from older-growth (25 to 30 years old) timber made available only through our close relationships within the tight-knit circle of suppliers in Thailand. This older-growth timber ensures that the finished floors capture the richer color and tighter grain structure more commonly associated with natural, old-growth forest teak. With Forest Stewardship Council certification of the flooring and the plantation, these floors meet the strictest standards for quality and appearance. At last, designers and consumers can enjoy the precious beauty of genuine teak flooring, comfortable knowing they contribute to a more sustainable future.
