Installation: Countertops can be mounted to any kitchen or bath cabinet. The top should be sealed to a support plate for extra rigidity. Seams can be sanded down, producing the effect of a single piece. Refer to Fabrication Manual for further guidance

Maintenance: Darker colored solid surfaces are not recommended for high traffic installations as they may show scratches more easily. Please reach out to us for a test piece if you are considering this kind of application. It is recommended that the surface be cleaned with mild detergent or a soap and water solution and rinsed with water. Melamine foam (Miraclean, Magic eraser) is an excellent cleaning product for Durat as well. For difficult stains, you can use dishwasher detergent. If the Durat® countertop is scratched or suffers similar damage, it can be re-sanded in the same manner as sanding a new product. Refer to Maintenance Instructions for further guidance
