Panels are trimmed to size and the backs are sanded to facilitate bonding to a substrate. Material thickness is determined by the number of kraft layers bonded together

Suitable Substrates
Medium to high density fiberboard, particleboard, or metals are suitable substrate options. Do not glue directly to plaster walls, gypsum wallboard, or concrete. The use of a backing sheet is recommended to minimize warpage. Apply to the opposite side of the substrate. The thickness of the backing sheet should be relatively equal to the thickness of the decorative laminate on the face of the assembly

Flammability
Tested to standard ASTM E84 and CAN/ULC-S102-M. Results dependent on the HPL product type, bonding substrate, and adhesive. See Technical Bulletin for additional information
