Installation varies depending on application. Carbide-tipped saw and router blades should be used for cutting. Use the tool at high speed and feed slowly. To avoid cracking, radius all corners. Edges should be routered smooth. Refer to Spec Sheet attachment for additional information
Recommended Adhesive
Wilsonart® H20 Contact Adhesive works well in postforming applications. Use Wilsonart® 1730/1731 Contact Adhesive for non-postforming applications. Wilsonart® PVA Adhesive is ideal for bonding decorative laminate to wood substrates, in cold press, hot press, and postforming applications. For best results, apply adhesives at temperatures at or above 65 degrees F. Adhesives are UL GREENGUARD Gold Certified, quality for LEED points, and comply with SCAQMD and OTC regulations.
Suitable Substrates
Not structural — must be bonded to a suitable substrate such as particleboard, MDF, or plywood (with at least one A-face). Not recommended for direct application to plaster, concrete walls, or gypsum wallboard.
Performance Metrics
Abrasion Wear Resistance
ISO 4586 tested for Surface Wear Resistance. Meets or exceeds 400 cycles. Consider Wilsonart® High Wear for added abrasion resistance
Antimicrobial Note
Antimicrobial Protection (silver ion additive) is available as a factory order option on -38 and -60 finish laminates and comes standard on all HD® finishes. Requests for Wilsonart® VDL must be pre-approved by product management.
Flammability
Specific Flame Spread and Smoke Developed properties for the Virtual Design Library collection will depend on the specific design selected. Testing on individual designs will be required to verify these values

Maintenance
To clean the surface, use a damp cloth or sponge and a mild soap or detergent. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and wipe dry. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners. A diluted bleach solution can be used as a disinfectant. Reference the Care & Maintenance Guide for additional information
Stain Resistance
ISO 4586 tested for Stain Resistance. No effect from Reagents 1-10. Slight effect from Reagents 11-15 for both product types
Water Resistance
ISO 4586 tested for Boiling Water Resistance. Slight effect on glossy surfaces. No effect on other finishes.
