Material & Finish
Backing
¼” thick maple plywood (laminated in a formaldehyde-free, soy-based assembly process)
Construction
Moss, plants, and flower foliage are harvested at peak growth to attain maximum vibrancy. A non-toxic, biodegradable preservation liquid is used to replace plant sap once harvested. Moss, plants and foliage are applied to ¼” plywood backing using special adhesive according to approved design. The whole construct is around 2” thick with some preserved foliage that may protrude from garden up to 6”. Once the garden panels are acclimated in a special chamber, they’re crated for shipment to the construction site

Maintenance
Maintain an indoor temperature between 60° and 85° F with a humidity level less than 70%. If Reindeer (Lichen) Moss is used in a garden design, there is a minimum of 30% humidity requirement for Lichen not to feel dry and get brittle. Unlike faux plants, preserved garden installations are not prone to dust accumulation as they’re not electrostatic. Dusting is only needed every 12 months or on a needed basis. Avoid spraying or washing with water and liquids. Fumigation of the display area in the sign of insect presence is advised. Avoid proximity (2 feet or less) to heat-emitting lights. LED lights are recommended for illumination.
