Surfaces are heat resistant but not heat proof. To protect your surface from potential damage caused by sudden or rapid temperature changes, trivets or hot plates are strongly recommended. Never place hot cookware directly onto the material. Do not cut directly on the surface. Use of a cutting board is always preferred to avoid knife marks

Custom Capabilities
Larger sizes and thinner slabs can be fabricated by request for select applications. Custom colors and finishes available on orders of 4,500 sqft or more (requires extended lead times)
Cut and polish with water-cooled power tools. Cutouts and corners shall have 0.375in minimum radius. Polishing should be done in a progressive manner, using only granite and marble diamond polishing pads. Never install mechanical fasteners directly into the material. Through bolting is permitted, however. Exposure limits may be applicable when cutting or grinding product, creating dust, which can contain particles of crystalline silica. Do not breathe dust. Wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Recommended Adhesive
The use of a flexible adhesive is required, such as 100% clear silicone, when securing countertops to cabinets, substrate, or backsplashes to walls. Where required, however, the material can also be set in grout or installed with ties, clips, or other types of hardware recommended for thin stone veneers. During seaming or laminations, use of a polyester knife grade adhesive is recommended. Adhesive that will be visible in finished work should be tinted to match quartz surfacing.
